Professor asks Students to come Naked for Exam

A University of California Professor's order to the Student asking them to appear for the final examination of the Visual Arts naked if they want to pass sparked a huge controversy.

Professor Ricardo Dominguez who is teaching on 'performing the self' for the past 11 years says he has been practising the same pattern for so long but no one complained until this week.

A Mother of a Student went public when she came to know about it and accused the professor of 'perversity'. Speaking to the media, She told: "To say 'Go naked to pass my class' makes me sick to my stomach".

However, Professor Ricardo Dominguez is unfazed by the uproar and he says people who are uncomfortable shouldn't take the course.

The School issued a clarification that nudity isn't mandatory to pass the class and the class itself wasn't a requirement for Graduating.

After 90days Jagan will goback Jail ?

The Andhra Pradesh government's decision to extend legal assistance to five cabinet ministers facing a CBI probe in connection with Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's alleged illegal assets case has kicked up a controversy.

The state government on Saturday issued orders providing legal assistance to four ministers - P. Sabita Indra Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao, Kanna Lakshminarayana and J. Geetha Reddy. A separate order was issued on Tuesday extending legal assistance to another minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

All these ministers, along with former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, were part of late CM Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's cabinet.

They had signed files pertaining to 26 controversial government orders benefiting firms that had invested in the business empire of Jagan between 2004 and 2009.
The Supreme Court issued notices to these six ministers along with eight IAS officers in March asking them why the CBI probe should not be ordered against them for issuing the controversial orders benefiting Jagan.

The ministers wrote to chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking legal assistance to fight the case against them in the Supreme Court, as they had signed the files as part of cabinet decisions and not in their individual capacity.

After taking legal opinion, the CM agreed to extend legal assistance to them, including bearing the cost for engaging senior lawyers of the apex court to argue their case.
'If the government defends the ministers for issuing the orders, then it is evident that the YSR government had not done anything wrong in extending benefits to the firms that had invested in Jagan's companies.

So, the entire argument of the CBI that there was a quid-pro-quo deal between these companies and the government has no merit.

If the government says the orders were issued under pressure, then it should scrap them and the ministers would have to face the punishment for issuing the same,' YSR Congress spokesman Janak Prasad said.

'It amounts to defending the tainted ministers, who had signed the controversial files benefiting Jagan,' TDP spokesperson Varla Ramaiah said.

Pawan Kalyan: Not one to forgive and forget

Pawan 'Vengeance' Kalyan is not one who forgives and forgets. If two of his blockbusters - the just released 'Attarintiki Daredi' and the previous one 'Gabbar Singh' - showed anything, it was his contempt for those he disliked from the bottom of his heart.

The big star that he is, Pawan Kalyan, brother of megastar Chiranjeevi, union minister of state for tourism, took at dig at two big actors in the Telugu film industry in both his films.

No, he did not utter dialogues to show how much he loathed them. All that he did was make the audience laugh at them.

In 'Attarintiki Daredi' released on Friday, the actor mouths a dialogue imitating Tollywood's 'Collection king' Mohan Babu. The actor-producer and former MP is known to render his dialogues in a distinct style.

It is easy to make out if someone is imitating Mohan Babu. Not surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan, who plays a rich guy acting as a mere car driver in the film, mouths a lengthy dialogue in Mohan Babu-style. The similarity was not lost on the audience which went delirious.

For the records, all has not been well with the Chiranjeevi family and Mohan Babu. While Mohan Babu is a senior in the industry, Chiranjeevi who came to filmdom later, overtook all his peers and seniors to become the uncrowned king of the Telugu film industry before he moved on to politics.
