The traditionally ugly rivalry between Kamma and Kapu caste only got worsened with the fights between fans of Nandamuri and Mega family. The rivarly touched its peaks when Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna were at the top of their careers in late 90s.
Chiranjeevi and Balayya are back to fight Balakrishna's form was on a slide and Chiranjeevi went to poltics in recent past subsiding the rivalry. Even their heirs are in fray, they are not match to the contest of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
However the rivalry is going to be back once again as Chiranjeevi and Balayya are back to fight at this box office this Sankranthi. Kamma - Kapu rivalry will surface once again Chiranjeevi is back to films with his 150th film, Auto Jaani to be directed by Puri Jagannadh. Balayya who found some form off late is teaming up with Loukyam fame Srivas for his 99th film, Dictator. As of now both the films are slated for Sankranthi.
If both of the films clash, needless to say, the Kamma -Kapu rivalry will surface once again!
